Bethune Elementary School Addition This is a two story, 14,500 sf addition to the existing Bethune Elementary School. Construction consisted of concrete retaining walls and structural steel with a brick and storefront skin. This new addition houses new classrooms, a central plant for mechanical and electrical equipment for the entire 107,000 sf building. This is the second project completed by YLH Construction for Fulton County Schools. The contract amount was $5,200,000. |

Holcomb Bridge Middle School YLH is the General Contractor on this 12,287 sf addition to Holcomb Bridge Middle School. The addition is a concrete masonry and structural steel building with brick exterior and will house two new science labs and several new math and English classrooms. The project also included complete interior demolition and renovation of five science labs within the existing building totaling 7,000 sf that was completed in time for the 2006-2007 school year. |

Hightower Trail Middle School Orchestra and Band Addition YLH is the General Contractor on this 7,800 sf addition to house orchestra and band practice space and classrooms. The project also includes extensive renovation work to the existing school. |

Cumberland Pointe YLH acted as Design/Builder on Cumberland Pointe, a 16,710 square foot neighborhood retail center located in the Cumberland/Vinings submarket of Atlanta, GA. The project consists of two structural steel buildings with brick exteriors and a 125 space parking lot. YLH also built a steepened slope retaining wall averaging over 33 feet tall, 63 feet at the highest point, in order to make the site feasible for development. The project is 100% leased to the following tenants: RBC Centura, Moe's Southwest Grill, Shane's Rib Shack, Doc Green's Gourmet Salads, Atlanta Eye Care and Carriage Cleaners. The project hard cost totaled approximately $3.3 million. |

859 Spring Street YLH teamed with Pieper, O'Brien, Herr Architects to design/build the renovation of 859 Spring Street. The project consisted of gutting the 15,000 square foot single story office building and the demolition and rebuilding of the entire front and partial side elevations to make way for an urban retail home for Office Depot. The project also included the addition of an elevator within the existing space to the rooftop parking level. The project hard cost totaled approximately $625,000. |

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT YLH will be the Project Manager for Kim King Associates on this 295 room hotel on West Peachtree Street in Atlanta's Midtown District. The hotel will be part of the Kimpton Hotels chain and will house one of Kimpton's signature restaurants on the ground floor and a dramatic roof-top bar and pool deck above the top parking level. The hotel is scheduled to break ground in Spring of 2006 and open in late 2008. |

MetroPointe Lofts YLH served as Construction Manager for Technology Housing, LLC for the design and construction of MetroPointe Lofts. This is a 1,264 bed facility that offers modern industrial apartments with a loft atmosphere. It combines the luxury of private residential living with the economies of shared living spaces. The units consist of two, three or four bedroom apartments, all with private baths and shared kitchens and living rooms. Amenities include a club area, fitness center, volleyball and basketball courts and a resort quality pool. The project hard cost totaled approximately $54 million. |

SITE DEVELOPMENT YLH was the General Contractor for this site development project. The project consisted of excavation and removal of unsuitable soils from the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation and Health Center Sites. YLH also reworked the site utilities and grading of the site to improve drainage and functioning of the spaces. Lastly, YLH was responsible for hauling and placing high end compost and installing final landscaping in time for the 2006 NCAA swimming and diving championships which were held at the site. |
